Blown Away!

Visit Air1.comWow!  Never would have thought it would happen.  Pretty crazy.

Here I was, on my way to work this morning listening to Air1, when I heard Sean and Mandy talking about their compliment segment they did last week.  And I was thinking, “Cool, hopefully it will inspire more people to call a customer hotline or just give someone in their life a compliment.”

Guess what happened…..  No, seriously, guess.

They read an email I sent them about how they inspired me to create this site and everything we’re doing here.  WOW!  God is awesome!  When I sent the email, I wasn’t expecting them to read it on the air.  The most I was hoping for was for Sean to send an email back and say, “Hey, man!  This is great.  Keep up the good work.”  And that’s it.  But no!  They totally blew me away and promoted the site and the Facebook and Twitter pages.  Crazy.

So, now that they got the ball rolling, let’s keep it up.  I’ve been trying to think of a verse for the site and this is what I came up with so far.  All suggestions are welcomed:

An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.

- Proverbs 12:25

So, let’s get out there and do more cheering up than weighing down!

What a great idea! An opportunity to speak peace and blessing into the lives of others, and feed ourselves on good stuff! :)

That's it! That's exactly what we want to do. God tells us to love others.. How can we do that if we are constantly ripping each other complaining about everything? Granted, there are times when we need to bring poor service or bad experiences to management, but that should be the exception, not the norm. When we do take those complaints to management, do it in love, not bitter righteous indignation.

      Thanks for the comments Lori!

awesomeness!! Just heard it on air1 and had to come check it out and leave my first post on facebook. I also love this one from Psalm 15:30 A cheerful look brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones. By telling someone they are doing it right, you are bringing them good news!!
